Links LS 98 Overview
Links LS 1998 Edition is the sequel to one of the greatest golf titles of 1997, and an outstanding golf game in its own right. The Links LS 1998 Edition again features Arnold Palmer at his legendary Latrobe Country Club, plus Maui's famed Kapalua Village, Plantation, and Bay courses. Even though the courses are the same, the enhancements make the playing experience new once more. New to Links LS 1998 is what Access calls "look ahead rendering," which calculates your ball's final resting position and begins to load the correct scenery into memory as the ball is in flight. New graphic flourishes include airborne objects such as balloons, jets, and blimps; incredibly realistic water reflections and clouds; new textures and colors; and waving flags on the green (which you can actually see from the tee on some shorter par-3 holes).
