The spell Neria cast is now called "Hope" by most people of Dominus. But not all things are everlasting. Hope began to break, and power lusted within the races again. This is the beginning of the Age of Blood. The races are at war with each other. Creatures within the Inner world, sealed away by Hope, are reawakening. Hope is nearly gone, and the races of Dominus battle for land and lost power. Appropriately named to mirror the lust for power within mortals and immortals, our time is called the Age of Blood.
